£4m hypercar in world's most expensive crash

Here’s a bizarre record of sorts – one of the world’s most expensive crashes – reported in Germany.

A £4million Koenigsegg hypercar - dubbed 'the world's first megacar' - crashed at Germany's Nurburgring, ahead of an attempt at the lap record, reported ‘Metro’.

The driver reportedly lost control while on one of the track’s most demanding sections, ramming into the barrier before ending up on the other side of the rail, seriously damaging the front and rear of the car.

In a statement, Koenigsegg confirmed the driver was taken to hospital.
