After the broom…comes the groom

A Saudi man forced his daughter to marry her one-eyed cousin to punish her for causing his eye damage by a broom when she was a child.

The girl and her cousin were playing at her house in Riyadh during their childhood when she grabbed a broom and hit him on the eye.

“Many years later, the boy’s father asked that the girl should marry her cousin…her father agreed on the marriage since she caused his eye loss,” Kabar daily said.
