Couple awaken to find naked man in closet

A Corvallis couple woke to find a naked stranger in their closet. Police said 21-year-old Nicholas Buekea snuck out of a friend's basement apartment, climbed around a locked door to access a staircase and made his way to a third-floor apartment.

The Gazette Times reported the apartment's residents - who were not identified - found items out of place on Monday morning and Buekea, naked, inside their closet. Buekea struggled with one of the apartment's residents and fled.

Police said a group of people found Buekea on Monday and gave him a pair of shorts.

Buekea was found by police and taken to a local hospital, where he is being evaluated.

The Benton County District Attorney's Office is reviewing potential charges against Buekea.
