A couple were left astounded when they received a letter in the post without their address on it.

Anthony Wren's former colleague couldn't remember the postal details of him and his wife but, decided rather than not sending the letter, set the postman a "challenge" by printing "somewhere near the sea in Suffolk" on the envelope of the Christmas card in the hope it would reach them.

And when the couple received card, they were more than surprised that the postman had managed to find them within just four days of his former colleague popping it in the postbox.

Antony, 42, told the BBC: "It took four days to reach us ... really quite impressive.

"In July 2013 we moved up to Lowestoft and sent out our new address in Christmas cards.

"Obviously some of those cards must've gone missing and our friend and ex-colleague clearly has lost our new address but remembered we were moving to somewhere near but remembered we were moving to somewhere near the sea in Suffolk."
