Cow gets stuck on roof... how did it get there?

A cow searching for new pastures got stuck on a roof in the 'gateway to the Swiss Alps'.

The farm owner has given up on his cow calling her "most cantankerous beasts".

Farm owner Dieter Mueller explained that the cow never listens to him and always does what she wants.

He went on to say that when the cow got stuck on the roof he tried his best to bring her down but she would not budge.

He gave up and thought that his cow would have stayed up there for eternity if she wanted to.

Cyclist Rolf Steiner was stunned to see a cow grazing on a roof. He did not believe what he saw.

The animal stayed on the slippery slate roof of a farmhouse near the capital Bern as long as she wanted.

Mirror reported that the cow eventually managed to find her way back down to her field, breaking a few tiles in the process.

The farm owner had to foot the bill for replacing the tiles she smashed.
