Crazy World: Cat bites off newborn’s fingers

Published

Parents of a newborn were shocked to find three fingers of their little bundle missing just hours after he came into this world.

The baby boy was delivered in a hospital in the South Indian city of Hyderabad on November 18, reported NDTV. The baby also has scratch marks on his body.

The infant’s family allege that hospital staff admitted to them that a cat had bitten the baby. They also promised them that they would take care of the baby and requested the family not to tell anyone about the incident, the family alleges.

Meanwhile, doctors at the hospital claim the injuries on body and the missing fingers are a result of complications during pregnancy.

The infant is now being treated in another hospital and police say investigations are on and the cause of the injuries will be determined by a forensic examination.

$40k facelift to find love

A Taiwanese love-struck woman, spent more than S$40,000 (Dh120,266) on plastic surgery after she failed in a dozen relationships.

According to an AsianOne report, the 34-year-old single woman, weighing 66kgs, got a nose job done apart from an eyelift. She also spruced up her chin and took Botox shots. She worked on herself and lost 10 kgs, too.

In her new form, she proposed to the 13th boyfriend, and her 29-year-old lover accepted.

The couple plans to marry next year.

Ivan Esack, 38, had told Natalie, 33, months before killing her that she was a ‘dead woman walking – tick, tock, tick, tock,” the Daily Mail reported.

The court heard that he was a controlling person, who could not tolearte being separated with his wife and would not let her be with someone else.

Apparently, a day before facing her, he rang her up and said, “I’ll catch up with you, don’t worry. You cannot hide from me…what I’m going to do to you won’t be funny.”

They had married in 2006. Later, she opened her own business. He had been harassing her and last October she left him and started staying with her brother.

She had settled in another relationship, too. But he broke down crying and pleaded and she returned to him a couple of months later.

But when he started harassing her, she finally left him again.

Wedding dress stored for 26 years is not hers

A woman took out her wedding dress after almost 26 years to learn it is not hers. Her only daughter is praying that she finds the original so she could walk the aisle in that.

Kim Jones, who was married in 1986, gave the dress to the dry-cleaners and tucked it away secured in her wardrobe.

The mix-up could have happened then, she believes. The dress appears same when looking through the cleaner’s box. Only that this has sleeves and her’s did not.
