Crazy World: Man killed in fight over 'parantha'
NEW DELHI: An engineer was killed by four highly educated men at a roadside eating joint near a posh South Delhi colony, CR Park, over paranthas (Indian bread), reports The Times of India ( https://bit.ly/rCTeeC).
Doctors could only see some intestinal blockage and a few lumps in the stomach after doing an X-ray and hence they decided to operate on him.
They removed 421 coins, 197 fishnet pellets, three keys and 19 bolts of bicycle chain in a three-hour operation, according to the daily.
The man is suffering from a psychological or eating disorder which led to his swaloowing of non-nutritional objects. His family was not aware of his penchant for eating iron objects.
However, the doctors said that the man was lucky that the rusted objects did not fatally harm his stomach or food pipe.
US: In Arizona, children and parents have got an opportunity to pose for Christmas pictures with a difference. A local gun club has organised an event where the local residents get to pose with Santa and to make matters more interesting, they also get to hold machine guns during the 'shoot'. Even toddlers are allowed to cling on to the firearms, according to a blog (https://yhoo.it/sZlpIp).
The organisers say their event has attracted a lot of people, says the website.
On the club website, the organisers have advertised their event as "a one-of-a-kind opportunity to be photographed next to Santa while against a backdrop of a stunning $80,000 Garwood mini-gun and SGC's coolest belt fed machine guns including the M60, M249 and M240."
Another ad on the club's website reads: "Santa's Back With His Bag Of goodies. Get Your Holiday Picture With Santa & His Machine Guns!"
