Crazy World: Mom charged in girl's rape

AUSTRALIA: A 12-year-old daughter was allegedly raped by her mother's boyfriend whom she met through a social networking dating site.

The woman has been charged with rape and indecent treatment of her daughter for inviting the man she met through internet into her home, reports couriermail.com.au.

The 34-year-old woman was apparently in her bedroom when her 26-year-old boyfriend took revealing photos of her disrobed daughter. The man has been charged with "24 offences, including seven counts of rape, 16 counts of indecent treatment of a child and making child exploitation material", revealed the website.

The incident took place almoist a year ago and the matter came to light after the police seized exploitation material. An official told the website that although the mother was not physically present in the room at the time when the girl was raped, however, it as obvious that some kind of dealing had taken place, given the pictures that were taken and then later found by authorities.

The woman is out on bail but she has been barred from getting in touch with the victim or her boyfriend.

 

Father kills teen daughter over affair

INDIA: In yet another horrific case of honour killing, a father killed his 13-year-old daughter as he believed that she had shamed her family by going around with a boy that the he did not approve of.

The girl was strangled to death and the man got his other daughters, 17 and 15 years old, to lie and say that she committed suicide by hanging herself. However, the post-mortem report revealed that she did not commit suicide but was killed, reports The Times of India.

On the day of the incident, the boyfriend had entered the girl's home to borrow some moneyy as he urgently needed to go and see a relative who was unwell.

The neighbours complained about the boy's visit to the house when the other sisters returned from work. The boy was still inside the house with the youngest sister. The elder sisters banged on the door and the boy fled the scene through a window at the back of the house. The youngest sister was physically assaulted by the elder sisters and they in turn carried the tale to their father.

The teenager was found dead hanging from the ceiling a couple of days after the incident.

The trio have pleaded guilty.

 


Refused ice-cream, 10-year-old hangs self

INDIA: A father who refised a meagre sum of Rs2 to his son never thought that his decade old son would hang herself with a skipping rope.

The little girl wanted to have kulfi, a cold Indian dessert. The father wanted to discourage her lest she catches cold and falls sick in summer. Later he even promised to give her Rs3. However, the girl was so peeved that she ended her life, reports The Times of India.

The girl's parents and teachers at school are shocked at the extreme step taken by the girl. The father says that his daughter was her teachers' favourite student. While the teachers called her enterprising and obedient.

The girl leaves behind her berieved parents and two younger sisters.

 

Pimps advertise their services online

MALAYSIA: Pimps have come out of the dark alleys and become cyber savvy. They advertise the services of the women they reporesent on their websites. The ads come with a disclaimer saying that the rates charged  are for companionship only, reveals Asia One

The women are lured in from other countries by the pimps and their henchmen by promising them respectable jobs. The poor and gullible women get trapped and are forced into servicing their clients till they are able to pay back the henchmen who charge them money to get them there from their home towns.

The women are paid only 10 per cent of what the clients are charged, hence it takes them a long time to pay their debts.

 

Basketball shot from helicopter

A video clip of a basketball player taking a shot from a chopper has hone viral on YouTube.

It is being hailed as the new world record for the longest shot from a helicopter, reports Orange.co.uk.
