Crazy World: Mum kills 5 newborn babies

POLAND: A prosecutor says a Polish woman has been arrested on suspicion of killing at least five of her newborn babies.

Maria Kudyba, a prosecutor in northeast Poland, said Friday the suspect, identified only as 41-year-old Beata Z., will be held for at least three months during an investigation.

She said the widowed woman gave birth to eight babies between 1998 and 2012, but only two remain alive.

Four bodies have been found on the woman’s farm in Hipolitowo village. Investigators are searching for a fifth body and trying to determine the fate of the sixth baby.

Social workers alerted police when they saw no baby born after Beata Z. appeared to have been pregnant.

Investigators refused to speculate about possible motives in the case. Poland has a strict anti-abortion law. (AP)

'Boyfriend' turns out to be 60 years old

INDIA: A young girl of 23 from the Indian state of Kerala was indulging in a bit of phone romance for over a year. She fell head over heels in love with her phone boyfriend and was desperate for a face-to-face meeting.

With a plan to meet him in mind, the post-engineering graduate from Thiruvanathapuram travelled to Kannaur (again in Kerala) in order to get a close look at the person who was known to her only as a voice, reports NDTV.

She had arranged to meet the man of her dreams near a bus stand, but the man never turned up. When people near got suspicious of her presence at the bus-stand, they informed the police.

She was taken to a police station where she was questioned. When the woman narrated her story to the police officials, she was asked to hand over her boyfriend's mobile phone number.

The boyfrined was summoned to the police station on some pretext. The young woman fainted when she got her first good look at the 'boyfriend'. He turned out to be a 60-year-old man.

The old man explained he was just having some harmless fun with her and had no intention of meeting her. Meanwhile, the girl's parents were asked to come to Kannaur and take her back home.
 
Man puts cat in drier and uploads footage on YouTube

UK: A sadistic man put his girlfriend's feline pet inside a tumble drier and had the audacity to post the footage on YouTube. It remained there for 56 days.

The cat suffered a broken tooth and a tongue injury in the horrific incident and members of the RSPCA said that the animal must have suffered from immense trauma during the 12 seconds when the drier was switched on, reports Daily Mail. 

The court learnt that the bopyfriend suffers from attention deficit disorder and his 4.5 year relationship with his girlfriend broke down over the pet.

The court has banned the man from keeping a pet for the rest of his life and he has been jailed for causing needless suffering to an animal.

Man crashes into house and offers pizza

A man cashed his car into a house while he was under the influence of alcohol. Without really being conscious of what he was doing, he offered pizza to the shocked homeowners.

William Kise, 41, reportedly crashed his Mustang into an Indianapolis home and asked the homeowner: "You want some pizza?"

The man's foot allegedly got stuck on the accelerator and he could not use the brake, which finally caused the crash.

The Indianapolis Star reported that the police officials found a pizza and some assorted sauce from the back of his car.

While no one was injured in the crash, the house was pretty badly damaged and the owners had to move out into an alternative accomodation.
