Now schools sell ad space on report cards
US: Some schools in the state of COlorado have resorted to selling advertising space on pupils' report cards in order to meet their expenses in the face of extremem budgetary cuts.
The 5cm ads on report cards issued by 91 primary schools are expected to bring in $90,000 over three years from Collegeinvest, a college savings plan, reports Herald Sun.(https://bit.ly/rCpLNZ)
The educational institutes were desperately looking to generate revenue on their own as the school board had slashed its spending in the face of dismal state and central support from the government, said the daily.
The schools also sell ad space on its buses to a local bank.
Families cash-in on viral YouTube videos

The profit earned from the YouTube video will help put the three boys through private education, the parent told the Sun.
