Dog rescued after falling into 30-metre well

Saudi Civil Defence men spent more than 30 minutes to rescue a dog which plunged into a 30-metre-deep water well in the Gulf Kingdom.

'Sabq' newspaper said the civil defence used ladders, ropes and a cage to pluck the dog out to safety after spending hours inside the well barking for help.

It said the dog accidentally fell into the well near a farm in the capital Riyadh as it was not covered by the farm owner.
