A mistake by a Saudi airlines employee caused a passenger to land thousands of miles away from his original destination, prompting him to file a complaint to the management, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

Abdul Wahab Al Mansour, who was travelling from Riyadh to south Saudi Arabia, realised that the aircraft was heading in the opposite direction only when it landed in the north, Arab newspaper said.

"It was the mistake of an employee at Saudia…the employee gave him the wrong ticket and asked him to go the wrong gate,” it said.“Mansour wanted to fly to Najran in the south but ended up in Arar in the north…he filed a complaint upon arrival.”
