A Central Texas teenager was arrested after authorities said he was impersonating police and pulling over two Papa John’s delivery vehicles.

Around 9:30 p.m. on the night before Thanksgiving, flashing lights and sirens caused a delivery driver and passenger in Austin to believe Austin police were pulling them over on Dittmar Street.

According to their written statements, Boyle was ordered by the truck’s PA system to pull over and stay in the car, but something later “spooked” the truck and they sped away before anything happened.

That’s when the passenger dialed 911, and the driver followed the tan Chevrolet until police stopped it at the intersection of Cameron Loop and Seminary Ridge.

Earlier in the evening, another Papa John’s driver called 9-1-1 after he encountered a similar situation on Bluff Springs Road.

The tan Chevy was registered to 17-year-old driver Victor Molina. When police asked one of the passengers what their intentions were, the passenger responded that they were “just out cruising” and just wanted to “pull people over to mess with them.”

Molina was charged with impersonating a public servant and posted bond. None of the others were charged.
