I slept with the driver only 22 times: Housemaid

A Kuwaiti man put his Asian housemaid in the car and rushed her to the hospital after hearing her scream of pain in the stomach.

Doctors at the hospital in Kuwait City tried to assure the man his maid was not ill but pregnant. Instead of cheering, he was shocked, for the maid is not married.

When the angry man went to the maid on her hospital bed and asked her how, she replied that she had an affair with the family driver.

“I slept with him only 22 times and I did not know I was pregnant,” she told the man, who got a fresh shock.

In its report, the Arabic language daily Alanba said the man reported the maid and the Asian driver to the police.

Four accused of beating naked friend

Four Gulf men, including three teen agers, are on trial in Ajman after they were accused of kidnapping their friend, stripping his clothes off and beating him up.

The victim told court his friends also filmed him with their mobile phones while he was naked to extort him following a dispute.

“The four were also accused of causing a permanent disability on their friend because of severe beating,” Emirat Al Youm said.

It said the court adjourned hearings to April 24 after the four, who were not identified, denied their friend’s allegations.
