'Massive' 4kg hairball removed from teen's stomach

And doctors were shocked to find a massive ball of hair, weighing almost 4 kilos, inside her stomach that was blocking her digestive system.
Ayperi Alekseeva, 18, had a habit of chewing the tips of her hair, and eating hair she picked up from the carpet.
Medics say such a huge hairball was the first they handled in the 50-year medical records of the hospital.
Apart from her habit of eating hair, the teenager is a normal, healthy girl.
She has now promised her happy parents that she will never to eat hair again.
