Passenger fights air crew for blanket

An Egyptian villager scuffled with the crew members of a Saudia flight at Cairo airport after they tried to stop him from leaving the plane with a company blanket.

The passenger aboard the flight from the Western Saudi town of Medina to the Egyptian capital insisted on taking the blanket distributed to passengers during flight.

Airport security men were called to the aircraft after the passenger said he would take the blanket with him, the Saudi daily Sada said.

“Police later persuaded him that the blanket belongs to the company and that they were not giving blankets free to the passengers,” it said, adding that the passenger was released after apologizing to the crew.
