Pilot finds snake near jet tyre before take off

A Saudi pilot checking the passenger aircraft before taking off from an airport in the Gulf Kingdom was shocked when he saw a snake crawling near the tyres.

The pilot of the flight operated by the government-owned Saudi Airlines was making the final routine check of the plane at the airport in the northwestern town of Tabuk when he came face to face with the reptile.

“The snake could have sneaked into the aircraft and attacked passengers…what is the airport management going to do about this negligence,” the unnamed pilot told the Saudi Arabic language Sabq newspaper.
