Saudi adorns car with 'traffic tickets'... gets new ticket

Many drivers who get traffic tickets could be discreet about them as they may be ashamed.

But that was not the case with a young Saudi driver, who wanted to boast about the scores of tickets he had got.

“He used the tickets to adorn the rear and side glass of his four-wheel car,” the Saudi Arabic language daily Alriyadh said in a report from the central town of Buraidah.

“When a traffic patrol saw that car, the police men gave the driver another ticket and decided to impound his vehicle.”

The paper said it was the second weird act by a driver in that city. Last year, a driver was caught by the traffic police adorning his car glass with SR500 notes.
