A Saudi school girl was bitten by a snake in her school’s garden in the Gulf Kingdom and relatives said it was the second time the girl had that accident in six months.

Ashwaq Hussein, a student at a public preparatory school in the southern Saudi province of Asir, was rushed to hospital after she was bitten by the snake while playing with her class mates in the field, Sabq daily said.

“This is the second time she was bitten by a snake in the same place in six months,” her relative Mohammed Mureef, told the paper.

“This is strange...the school management is supposed to have informed the civil defence about the snake after the first incident.”
