A Jordanian teenager was allegedly killed by her own father and brother because they did not approve her of chatting to a stranger on Skype.

According to a report by Saraya news agency, the father-son duo strangled her to death using a scarf at their home in Zarqa Governorate.

The son, however, surrendered to police saying his father had killed his sister.

The duo have been arrested and referred to Prosecution.

Couple kills daughter who spoke to boy

A mother and father in Pakistan-administered Kashmir killed their 15-year-old daughter by dousing her with acid after seeing her talking to a young man, police said Thursday.

Local police officer Tahir Ayub told AFP the father, Mohammad Zafar, had had suspicions about his daughter Anvu Sha and became enraged when he saw her with a boy outside their home on Monday.

"Zafar beat her up and then poured acid over her with the help of his wife. She was badly burnt but they did not take her to hospital until the next morning, and she died on Wednesday," Ayub said.

Doctor Mohammad Jahangir of the state run Kotli hospital confirmed the death, saying the girl was brought to hospital in a "very critical condition" with almost 70 per cent burns.

Anvu Sha's married elder sister alerted police and demanded they investigate the incident in Khoi Ratta district, 140 kilometres (87 miles) north of the state capital Muzaffarabad.

"The parents have confessed, saying that they suspected the girl had illicit relations with a boy," Ayub said. "We have registered a murder case against the girl's father and mother."

Man gets mom pregnant

A man in Zimbabwe has committed the worst crime possible, not once but twice. A resident of a village in Zimbabwe left his mother pregnant with his child for the second time and absconded. The mother also allegedly fled the village, according to reports in the British media.

About four years ago, the mother and son were fined by their village church after the council learnt that the woman was left pregnant by her son. At that time, the woman had miscarried when she was four months pregnant. Now, history has repeated itself.

The villagers were outraged on learning about the incestuous relationship which has been on since 2008. The woman's husband passed away after a long illness.

Now villagers want to hunt and get the duo back to the village and subject them to harsh punishment to send out a signal to the entire community that such incestuous relationships would not be tolerated.

The villagers found out that the mother was pregnant for the second time when the woman stopped going to church. When villagers visited her at home, they found that she was five months pregnant by her own son.

Last heard, the duo were still on the run.
