In a horrible incident, a teenager conspired with her boyfriend to kill her widowed mother and dump her body along the banks of a river in the Indian town of Nashik.
The 16-year-old invited her 19-year-old boyfriend to her house. The duo got together and the 40-year-old mother was initially stabbed in her abdomen and then strangled to death, reports Indian news agency Press Trust of India.
The girl filed a missing person's reports in a nearby police station a few days after the incident to hide her crime. She even informed her uncle that her mother was missing.
Meanwhile, police officials found a dead body with stab wounds and strangulation marks near the location where the body was dumped by the teenagers.
Investigation led the police officials to the girl who broke down and confessed her crime during interrogation. She claimed that her mother was against her relationship with her boyfriend and the duo would fight often over the matter.
The teenagers have been charged the with woman's murder.
