Two US Navy airman claim spotting a UFO

Two US Navy airman have both claimed they have seen a UFO during a training mission.

Commander David Fravor and Lieutenant Commander Jim Slaight insist they saw something "accelerate like nothing" they have ever seen before through the sky, the New York Times has reported.

The UFO was tracked for a couple of weeks before the objects appeared at 80,000ft then sped away towards the sea then shot up into the sky.

Speaking about the sighting, Fravor said: "It accelerated like nothing I've seen before.

"We were at least 40 miles away, and in less than a minute this thing was already at our cap point.

"I have no idea what I saw. It had no plumes, wings or rotors and outran our F-18s. I want to fly one."
