When you top up your phone, look behind
When you buy credit to top up your mobile phone, make sure no one is standing behind you as the credit could go to that one.
That was what happened in Kuwait but the man who got the credit, also got a stab that sent him to hospital so he would not think of stalking others again.
After paying KD 30 ($100) for the top-up card at a shop in Kuwait City, a Kuwaiti bedoun (without identity) stood there trying to top up his phone, unaware of the Egyptian man standing behind him. Once he entered the top-up number, he was surprised no credit was added to his number.
“He then realized the Egyptian man got the credit, so he angrily told him to pay him…but the Egyptian was sarcastic as he told him it was his money…the bedoun was so furious that he jumped on the Egyptian and stabbed him with a sharp object, sending him straight to hospital,” the Kuwaiti daily Alwatan said.
