Wife asked to abort: but she's not pregnant

When an Arab woman received a phone call from hospital asking her to come for the agreed appointment so she will have an abortion, she was shocked as she was not pregnant. She got another shock when she went to the hospital later and found that another pregnant woman had faked her name.

The man was then sentenced by an Abu Dhabi court to six months in jail for adultery and forgery. The other woman claimed in court she had not committed adultery and that the man had raped her three times, leading to her pregnancy.

Albayan newspaper did not make clear whether the court indicted the woman, who aborted at hospital as she fell seriously ill after taking abortion pills.

Before he was jailed, the husband bet his wife and tried to abduct her to another Gulf country but was forced by police to return.

“The husband was later forced to divorce his wife at her request,” the paper said without giving further details of the case.
