Woman plans to marry herself

A woman is set to marry herself in April this year after watching an episode of 'Friends'.

Lynne Gollogy, 39, decided to have a solo wedding because she didn't want to "hang around" for her perfect match to come along, and she believes she will enjoy her life more on her own because she has "no interest" in finding a partner and settling down with anyone after an engagement fell through when she was younger.

According to the Mirror Online, Lynne is set to tie the knot in April this year, and will enjoy a traditional ceremony, which will see her adorn a white gown for her special day before jetting off to Rome in Italy solo.

Speaking about her wedding, she said: "I've had a lot of potentials in the past, but I'm not just going to settle for anyone just so I fit into today's society.

"I've been single for a while now and have no interest in being in a relationship. I did get engaged once, when I was younger, but it was silly and nothing came of it.

"I think with these things I'd never says never - but I'm not going to hang around for much longer.

"It's always something I've wanted to do, and because 'Mr. Right' hasn't turned up yet - I'm just going to go ahead and get married without him."

However, the wedding will not be legally binding.
