Woman’s mobile stolen…by monkey

A Kuwaiti woman on Umra (mini pilgrimage) in Saudi Arabia had her mobile phone damaged when a monkey snatched it off her hand and ran away before it fell down on the ground and broke into pieces, newspapers reported on Tuesday.

The woman was filming nature with her mobile phone while on a picnic with her family in the hills surrounding the western Saudi town of Taif when a monkey emerged from nowhere, grabbed her phone and ran away.

Newspapers said the mobile later fell off the monkey’s hands and brome into pieces. “I lost all records in the phone after it was damaged,” she said.
