A Kuwaiti woman was taken to hospital after a ring got stuck in her finger and caused her severe pain, a newspaper reported on Thursday.
The woman poured hot oil on her finger in a bid to remove the ring but it caused burns in her hand, the Arabic language daily Al Watan said.
At hospital, doctors had to call the civil defence men, who used special tools to cut off the ring and free the woman’s finger, it added.
