Inflatable doll blamed for crash

Officials say a blow-up doll is responsible for a car crash in central Pennsylvania last week.

State police say a motorist was rear-ended when he stopped suddenly after spotting what he though was a person lying on Route 34 in South Middleton Township, Cumberland County. The road was covered in fog at the time.

But investigators say the person turned out to be an inflatable doll.

Both drivers and a passenger were wearing their seatbelts. No injuries were reported.
