Man steals credit card for pedicure

Published

A homeless man surely has a lot more to spend on when he steals a credit card.

But think again - this Florida man Jonah Lee Troutman could only think of his nails, which ultimately led the police to nail him.

The 27-year-old used the stolen card to get his pedicure done.

The Orlando Sentinel reported that Troutman travelled 25 miles from Orlando and headed straight to Nancy's Nails after stealing the card.

He got his toes done and while paying through the stolen card he got trapped. When the payment was declined twice, staff members grew suspicious and alerted the police.

He now faces charges of petty theft and illegal use of a credit card.

Troutman also confessed that it was not his card but denied stealing it. He testified that the card was lying on the street and he couldn't resist the temptation.
