Flight attendants have strict height rules that they must fit before being employed by the airline company.

Research into the rules around the height of air stewards and stewardesses has found that shorter and taller candidates won't be considered for a job in the skies, according to The Sun newspaper.

British Airways will only hire people who measure between 5'2 and 6'1 whereas EasyJet state staff should be around 5'3 and 6'3 and Ryanair it's 5'2 and 6'2.

Only Singapore Airlines have requirements for both genders with 1.58m for women and 1.65m for men but it isn't due to female cabin crew members wearing high heels as they wear sandals.
