Is this picture proof of life on Mars: 'Alien thigh bone' captured

Is this the picture that proves what most humans want to believe is true?

There is, or was, life on the planet Mars.

Or is it just a wishful manner of looking at a photograph.

Taken by Nasa’s Curiosity rover, trekking across Mars, this picture of an ‘alien thigh bone’, has the conspiracy theorists crying ‘We told you so!’

Nasa is not so sure, suggesting that years of erosion of a rock could have simply created that structure.

The image was taken by the rover’s MastCam on August 14.

The Independent quotes anonymous editorial writer at Northern Voices Online saying: “Simply put this shows that there were some living things on the Mars (sic),” asserts.

A popular site UFO Blogger compares the find to previous images of a “fossilized, reptilian spine” and a “human finger”.

Nasa itself writes: “No bones about it! Seen by Mars rover Curiosity using its MastCam, this Mars rock may look like a femur thigh bone. Mission science team members think its shape is likely sculpted by erosion, either wind or water.

“If life ever existed on Mars, scientists expect that it would be small simple life forms called microbes. Mars likely never had enough oxygen in its atmosphere and elsewhere to support more complex organisms. Thus, large fossils are not likely.”

This report comes only days after Russian astronauts claim to have found traces of sea plankton and microscopic particles in outer space.
