Kuwaiti seizes “unfaithful” hubby, Bond-style

A Kuwait woman who had suspected that her husband is betraying her with a much younger woman decided to turn herself into the famous British fictional spy agent James Bond to catch him red handed.

Aided by the internet, she managed to buy a miniature pen recorder, which she concealed in her husband’s car and allowed her to listen to all his phone calls, the Kuwaiti Arabic language daily Alanba reported Saturday.

The unidentified woman, in her 50s, was then convinced her husband, in his 60s, is dating an Arab woman living outside Kuwait and he was trying to bring her in.

“I then bought a tiny device similar to that used in movies...it can be hidden in a car to track its movement where ever it goes,” the woman said.

“I concealed that device in my husband’s cars and it really worked…I then heard him setting a date for that woman…when he drove away, I phoned my daughter and her husband and asked them to come with me…we followed the signal in his car and found it parked in front of a three-star hotel.”

The woman said they waited outside the hotel until her husband came out, accompanied by his “beautiful” lover, in her 20s.

“When he saw us, he tried to drive away and escape…but I blocked his way with my car and caught him…then I phoned the police and filed a complaint against him and his lover, who came to Kuwait on his sponsorship.”

The paper said the woman has also filed a court case for divorce.
