An Arab man checking his bank account found that he had received SR76,000 (Dh75,000) by mistake. Instead of accepting the unknown windfall, he returned the money to its original owner, who rewarded him with several thousands.
The unnamed man went into the bank and enquired about the new remittance he had found in his account in the bank in the central province of Nejd.
“When he told about the Saudi man who transferred the funds, he quickly withdrew all the money and went straight to the man…he told the Saudi that he had transferred the money to him by mistake and handed him all his money,”Almuwatin daily said.
“The Saudi was very impressed by what the Arab man did and insisted on rewarding him…the man at first refused but then accepted the SR6,000 from the Saudi.”
