Rat in eatery's dish; buffet continues

A customer stumbled upon a rat at a Chinese restaurant in Marina Square, Singapore, on Friday afternoon, according to Stomp.

The customer, along with a group of friends, were enjoying a buffet lunch, when she saw the carcass of the rat in a tray of salted vegetables.

Restaurant staff replaced the dish and the buffet continued.

Some customers had already had the dish before the rodent was discovered, according to the customer.

The manager reportedly apologised to the group and did not take money from them.
