Road rage that lead to a sword attack

Authorities say a road rage encounter between two neighbors sparked a sword attack that left a northeast Pennsylvania man needing stitches and staples to close his wounds.

Court papers say the dispute started when a man made an obscene gesture while passing a vehicle carrying three other men, including a neighbor.

State police say 52-year-old Joseph Lisco Sr., who's the father of the man who made the gesture, came out of his home with a sword to intervene.

The Pocono Record reports that court documents say Lisco slashed 21-year-old Anthony Cangemi on the head and leg as he struggled with Lisco's son.

Police say Lisco told investigators he was defending his son. Lisco is being held on $50,000 bail
