When bad luck strikes twice

A Saudi whose expensive car was stolen decided to buy a new vehicle but was determined not to give up his search for the first one. Instead of finding the stolen car, his new vehicle was also stolen just a few days after he bought it.
Mohammed Dawood, in his 60s, said he could hardly believe that he would be a target by car thieves twice in just a few days.
“They stole my car while it was parked in front of my house a few days ago…it was an expensive car,” he told the Saudi Arabic language daily Alyoum.
“I told the police but neither the police nor I have found it…I decided to buy another car but did not stop my search for the stolen one,” said Mohammed, a resident of the eastern Saudi town of Safwa.
Mohammed said he was shocked when he was walked up by his wife after she heard noises outside his house at dawn. “I looked at my new car but it was not there…it was stolen just before dawn prayers…can you believe this.”
