Arsene Wenger has begun the mind games to ensure Chelsea do not revive from their flagging fortunes, leaving a fourth place finish easier for Arsenal.
The Arsenal manager has seen the Gunners leapfrog Chelsea in the Premier League and turned up the heat on Andre Villas-Boas by saying, “It's your turn for a crisis.”
Wenger said: "The crisis in England is a bit like fire, it moves quickly from one club to another. We can't consider too much if it's us or Chelsea who suffers."
It is a crunch week for Arsenal. They face a Champions League trip to AC Milan Wednesday night followed by an FA Cup visit to Sunderland on Saturday.
Wenger warned: "We must be cautious, this crisis can quickly come back to us in a strong wind. We paid a heavy price for our start but it's not impossible to catch the top three."
Meanwhile, Wenger is reportedly all set to raid Ipswich for starlet Carel Tiofack.
Wenger personally watched the Cameroon-born Irish forward, 17, during a recent youth team match.
