Liverpool coach Kenny Dalglish will feel he is the biggest loser after the dust on this past Premier League weekend’s storm settles.

Manchester United lost, Chelsea lost, but Liverpool were unable to close the gap with a futile draw at Norwich.

King Kenny will surely rue the missed chance on three points, that too at a home game.

The big debate has been the contribution of Andy Carroll to the Reds’ cause, or more accurately, the lack of it.

Now, if one is to read between the lines, Kenny is turning on the heat on Carroll to deliver by bigging up Craig Bellamy.

Dalglish in British press reports hailed Craig Bellamy as a manager's dream and praised the forward’s ability to  cope with the frustration of not being a regular starter.

Bellamy helped Liverpool in the 1-1 draw, while Carroll who came on as a substitute, flopped again.

Bellamy is no stranger to Anfield, having played under Rafa Benitez.

"He has been brilliant," said Dalglish. "He just loves playing football and wants to play all the time. He will make a contribution for us. He’s fantastic to have around.”

So what of Mr 35 Million, then?
