Liverpool are hotter in the transfer market than most of the other big clubs.

That is thanks in no small part to new manager Brendan Rodgers who seems intent on sparking a revolution at Anfield based on a new crop of players.

After the likes of Luc Castaignos, dubbed the new ‘Theirry Henry’, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Parma striker Fabio Borini, Liverpool fans can wake up this morning to find Malaga's £20m-rated striker Salomon Rondon also on the Anfield buy list.

While Tottenham and Chelsea are also in race for the 22-year-old Venezuelan, Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo has reported that several premier league clubs are in for Rondon.

The fact is Rodgers is showing some creative flair in his transfer targets, which hopefully will transfer in to creative flair on the pitch as well.
