Man Utd latest transfers: Solskjaer for Moyes… Inspiration or pipe dream?

David Moyes at Manchester United has been handed a war chest to make some serious January buys.

The question is, who will want to come to a club that is on the wane?

Moyes himself remains pragmatic about the chances of snaring a big signing in January and as he pointed out after the Swansea loss, 10 of his players on the pitch that night were internationals.

So, maybe the players have to step up. And maybe that is where the manager steps in.

At some point, inspiration will be needed and a dyed in Red Mancunian like Solskjaer might well be looked upon as having the ability to provide it if Moyes continues to run dry.

The Norwegian will meanwhile cut his teeth and build his experience at Cardiff.
