Mohammed pardons 620 prisoners

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has ordered the release of 620 prisoners from Dubai punitive and corrective institutions to mark the occasion of Ramadan.

Dubai Attorney General Essam Al Humaidan expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed for his kind gesture, saying that it would have a far-reaching and positive impact on the families of the released prisoners.

Al Humaidan added that the public prosecution would coordinate with Dubai Police and punitive and correctional establishments in the emirate to carry out Sheikh Mohammed's order.
