Shah Rukh Khan seems to suffer from a short-term memory loss. “I have not seen any of Alia Bhatt’s films till date. But I was surprised to see how well she performed in Dear Zindagi. She has done extremely well in the film,” he exclaimed after watching the film.

SRK’s favourite director Karan Johar’s film Student Of The Year launched Alia Bhatt. But he wasn’t a part of the film. So well, let us presume that he has not seen the film.

But then he was present at the screening of one of Alia’s films Udta Punjab. So did he merely make an appearance for the actress and not see the film? That can be a possibility because SRK does not speak lies or that is what we need to presume.

Alia Bhatt’s filmography includes films like Karan’s Student of the Year and the Karan produced Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya, Sajid Nadaidwala and his current director Imtiaz Ali’s film Highway, Anurag Kashyap backed Abhishek Chaubey directed Udta Punjab and Sajid Nadiadwala’s 2 States.

So he did not see a lot of recent Karan Johar produced films as well. Agreed. He is a busy man and has been shooting for other films nonstop apart from spending quality time with family.

So let us assume that SRK’s recent statement about the actress is true and the statement is not a Ghajinisque statement. So how did he manage to not see her performance in Udta Punjab? Well that is something that he needs to answer the makers of Udta Punjab which was backed by the entire film industry to get even with the censor board which had several cuts in the Abhishek Chaubey directed film.
