Sheikh Hamdan hails UAE's under-23 football victory

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, felicitated the national Olympic team for winning the GCC Olympic football championship for teams of under-23 players recently held in Qatar.
The Crown Prince hailed the outstanding participation by the national Olympic team in the tournament and said that the event has played a major role in the development of football sports in the GCC states.
He also congratulated the UAE Football Association for this remarkable achievement, which comes in a series of successes, both on regional and international levels.
Sheikh Hamdan also asserted that these successes would not have been possible without diligence and neat performance of players, the hard work of the UAE Football Association and the strategic planning for the development of national team under the guidance of Honorary President of the Association Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, as well as the efforts of Chairman of the Association Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi and other members of Association.
