'Azizi Developments' main sponsor of Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Football Club

Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Football Club signed a strategic partnership agreement with Azizi Developments, the fast growing real estate developer in the region. A signing ceremony took place in the presence of Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Chairman of the Higher Committee for Merger of Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Football Club in Dubai, and Mirwais Azizi, Chairman of Azizi Group, at the Conrad Hotel in Dubai on Sunday.

The Chairman of the Higher Committee for Merger of Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Football Club, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman thanked Azizi Developments for its support of the Club and highlighted the pivotal role played by private sector companies in the UAE in supporting and interacting with the local community.

Sulaiman pointed out that the UAE sports movement is embarking on new horizons based on the directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to merge the Arab Youth Sports Club and the Dubai Sports Cultural Club with the Al Ahli Sports Club "into one entity called Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Football Club".

The Chairman of the Higher Integration Committee for Youth Al Ahli Dubai said that Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Football Club translates the wise vision of the leadership towards strengthening sports in the UAE and supporting it to achieve achievements worthy of the name of the UAE in all forums within the largest continental and international championships.

Commenting on the event, Mirwais Azizi, Chairman of Azizi Group said: “The signing of this strategic partnership with Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Football Club comes from our belief that sport is a significant aspect of our society and culture, and it is vital for the private sector give back to local communities through such initiatives. The UAE has achieved economic excellence globally and is able to achieve the same on the sports level.”

He added: "The partnership we are signing today with Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Football Club comes as part of our commitment to developing sports and youth in the UAE, especially in a country that has opened its doors to all who aspire to succeed in achieving their dreams."
