Afridi said he is in "no mood to play international cricket" (FILE)
The disciplinary committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board has fined Shahid Afridi Rs4.5 million ($52,300) for violating its code of conduct and restored his eligibility to play abroad.
PCB legal adviser Taffazul Rizvi announced the judgment of the committee on Thursday and said Afridi has accepted the verdict.
Rizvi said Afridi had "pleaded guilty and did not want to contest."
Afridi also said he is in "no mood to play international cricket" and is sticking with his decision to retire.
Last month, Afridi retired in protest after he was removed from the ODI captaincy and breached the code of conduct by criticizing top officials of the PCB.
Pakistan's Cricket Board also reinstated a no-objection certificate Thursday, clearing former captain Shahid Afridi to join Hampshire in England's Twenty20 tournament, a disciplinary committee said.
"The committee also recommended his NOCs to play abroad be restored, which the Pakistan Cricket Board has endorsed," said Rizvi.
