Pakistan World Cup captain Shahid Afridi is back in the limited-overs team after meeting with the new head of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Afridi described his Wednesday morning meeting with Zaka Ashraf as "very positive," and within hours the temperamental allrounder was named in the 16-man squad for five one-day internationals against Sri Lanka in the UAE starting on November 11.
Afridi quit international cricket after falling out with former PCB chairman Ijaz Butt and coach Waqar Younis soon after winning an ODI series against West Indies in midyear.
