Dubai cricket fans will be among the lucky few in the world to see Indian batting great Rahul Dravid in action once more following his retirement from international and domestic cricket last Friday.

Dravid will join the star studded MCC side playing in the Emirates Airline Twenty20 Trophy on March 23 at The Sevens Cricket Grounds.

The MCC side, which will also feature stars Sourav Ganguly and Mark Ramprakash as well as exciting Pakistani International Rana Naved in their squad, will be taking on English County Champions Lancashire, as well as Sussex, Durham and UAE Champions Fly Emirates XI in the battle for the Emirates Airline Twenty20 Trophy.

The Twenty20 Trophy will be hard fought with last year’s finalists Sussex aiming to go one better this year and take the honours, while Fly Emirates XI, the team of amateurs who surprised all by taking the trophy in 2010, will be hoping for a repeat performance of that shock result.

Tickets to the Emirates Airline Twenty20 event are priced at Dh25 and children under 12 are free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Seating is on grass banks so fans are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and umbrellas, and enjoy a great day out.

Tickets are available from the Promoseven Sports Marketing offices in the Emarat Atrium Building, Sheikh Zayed Road and will also be on sale at the gate at The Sevens ground on the Dubai-Al Ain road on the day of the Tournament. For enquiries please call Promoseven Sports Marketing on +971 4 3210008.
