Sri Lanka v Bangladesh 2nd ODI: Rain abandoned

The second one-day international between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh at Hambantota was abandoned due to rain on Monday.

Sri Lanka, leading 1-0 in the three-match series, were 33 for no wicket off five overs when play was called off. The final one-dayer will be played in Pallekele on Thursday.

Sri Lanka were 33 for no loss in fives in the second one-day international against Bangladesh when rain stopped play at Mahinda Rajapakse International Stadium in Hambantota on Monday.

Dilshan is unbeaten on 10 off nine balls with one boundary while Kusal is on 18 off 21 balls having hit three boundaries.

Kusal has smacked Rubel Hossain to fine leg for his second boundary in the third over.

Bangladesh have won the toss and decided to bowl in the second one-day international against Sri Lanka at Mahinda Rajapakse International Stadium in Hambantota on Monday.

Sri Lanka field an unchanged side which won the first ODI played at the same venue on Saturday. Bangladesh were without Tamim Iqbal and Abul Hasan. Mominul Haque and Jahurul Islam replaced them.
