UAE set to host Pakistan-Lanka series

Pakistan's home cricket series against Sri Lanka will be played in UAE from October 15 to 27, according to the CEO of the Emirates Cricket Board Dilawar Mani.
"The tour has been confirmed. We have to sit with the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) officials in the next few days to finalise the venues," he told Emirates 24|7.
The series will comprise three Tests, five one-day internationals and a Twenty20 match.
"Matches will be staged in Abu Dhabi and Dubai beginning with the Tests and ending with the T20 game," he added.
Zayed Sports City's international cricket stadium and Dubai Sports city would be the venues for the matches.
UAE is also billed to 'host' the Pakistan-England series in January with visiting teams refusing to tour Pakistan following the attack on the Sri Lanka team bus in 2009.
The UAE has played host to Pakistan's series against West Indies, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa in recent years.
