Arsenal transfer latest: Mandzukic or Morata for Wenger

Much to the hope of Arsenal fans, Arsene Wenger’s hand seems to be forced for a January move for a striker.

Olivier Giroud and now Nicklas Bendtner are both out injured.

Which leaves Wenger with just Lukas Podolski, given that Theo Walcott never seems to be seriously considered as a striker option at times like these.

Between the Mirror  and the Daily Mail three strikers were linked with a move to the Emirates.

Diego Costa’s Atletico Madrid’s red-hot striker was joined by Real Madrid’s youngster Alvaro Morata and Mario Mandzukic from Bayern Munich.

One thing is certain, if Bendtner is out for more than two weeks, which seems likely, Wenger has too much to risk with just Podolski in his Arsenal.
